The Louis Vuitton Looping bag dominated in the early 2000s and there has recently been a resurgence of appreciation for her.


This bag’s simple, elegant shape makes it a piece that transcends trends. The unique looped top handle is made for shoulder wear, but is also easily carried by hand. Fans of this model typically love it for its simplicity and its lightweight comfort. Its scarcity over time also lends to its cult following; most collectors don’t let go of theirs if they happen to have one.


This one is very loved but is in good condition for its age. The monogram is what we would consider heavily faded. It is still very visible and photographs well, but in comparison to the bags in our current collection, this is one of our most worn-in bags.

The vachetta leather top handle has been made supple and a dark honey color over time, though it still retains most of its original shape. The most typical wear we usually see on Looping bags is twisting and loss of shape in the handle; this one has no twisting and only very slight loss of form. There is also slight loss of shape in the base of the bag, which is common on Loopings.



We try to be very honest and accurate about our pieces’ conditions and we’re always happy to provide you with additional photos prior to purchasing to make sure this bag goes to the right home— please let us know if you’d like more photos. We do not take returns so please be sure you love her as much as we do!



No visible cracks or peeling in the monogram coated canvas. Original zipper in working condition and side studs for handle are intact.


The interior is in good condition as well. Has some pen marks and general wear, but in usable condition. This bag does have a slight vintage odor; if you are sensitive to smells, please be aware. One interior zippered pocket and one small open pocket that was for a small flip-phone back in the day.

The simple, classic shape makes this bag the perfect compliment to any outfit. She looks good with worn vintage denim, she looks good with a chunky sweater and skirt combo, she looks good over a vintage band tee and cut-offs. You name it, she probably looks good with that too.


This bag doesn’t have its original dust bag, but will come with the one pictured for protection/storage.
