Nothing like a cute classic!
The Trocadero is such a well-loved classic for a reason. With her rectangular slim shape, she holds all the daily essentials.
This particular one is a 23 size and has a shortened strap. This was done by its previous owner and the work appears to have been done by a third-party leathersmith, not Louis Vuitton. Please check all photos provided to make sure you love this alteration like we do (and ask us for more; happy to oblige!)
The monogram canvas is in very good condition for its age; we see no cracks or tears. The vachetta leather parts do show some mild scuffing and wear. The strap is in good wearable condition; some brass tarnishing, which is common on vintage Louis Vuitton. The top zipper also shows some brass tarnishing; we typically leave this as some people like it.
Some mild loss of shape in the base, on the backside. Front side does not show this.
The insides of the pockets have peeling and slight stickiness from age. The main compartment interior is in very good, usable condition.
She’s from the late 80s and in very good condition for her age; lovely honey colored patina throughout.
